The Prince is a hiking enthusiast. So, when the Fairy Godmother's magic goes slightly wrong and Cinderella finds herself not in a ball-gown but in hiking gear, it looks as if there could be romance in the air. And so there is – almost everyone ends up marrying someone, but not necessarily the person you were expecting.

Characters:  Cinderella, Buttons, Hilda, Matilda, Baron, Fairy Godmother, Prince Charming, Dandini, Courtiers

Script Extract:

Fairy Godmother (now revealed in hiking gear):

If your heart's set on a hiker,

Downhill skier, surfer, biker,

You and I were made for each other.

Prince: Who are you?

Fairy: The Fairy Godmother.

Your Highness, I am no mere townie.

I had my camping badge as a Brownie.

Can you say you would decline a

Walk on the Great Wall of China?

Would you take, if I beseech you,

The Inca Trail to Machu Picchu?

Prince:  Then how about a gentle stroll

All the way from Pole to Pole?

I can offer no resistance.

Let us set off, into the distance.
