Ten-minute rhyming pantomime.

Red Riding Hood sets off to see her grandmother and take her a Christmas hamper, filled with mince-pies and crackers with the usual jokes and “useful” gifts. Then the Wicked Wolf appears. Fortunately, Red Riding Hood's brother Robin Hood intervenes and knows just how to deal with the Wolf.

Six characters: Red Riding Hood, her brother Robin, her Mother, her Grandmother, the Wolf, plus a Narrator.

Red Riding Hood: I have this hamper to deliver

With crackers and mince-pies to give ‘er.

Goodbye!

Wolf: Well! I’m rather fond of pastry –

And Grandmama’s are always tasty.

Narrator: He bared his teeth, he licked his lips.

Wolf: (horrible grin)  I think that Grandma’s had her chips!
